 * `card-template.html` loads Anton, Archivo and Barlow Condensed from Google
 * Fonts. **Neither machine that renders cards can reach it** — the cloud
 * container and the linked device VM both answer `403 from proxy after
 * CONNECT`. A page whose webfont request fails does not error: it falls back to
 * Impact and system-ui and renders cards that look plausible and are not the
